A ten days trip trough a part of West-Brabant and the South-West part of Province of South-Holland.

Day 1.
Saturday from Schiedam

Arriving at our ship at apporx 12 hour you can relax or take a sight seeing stroll in the town, and maybe take a look at one of the highest windmills in the world.

Day 2.
Sunday ± 40 km

At appox 8 o'clock we go away trough the sips-lock from Schiedam trough the harbor of Rotterdam to Krimpen a/d Lek where you can see the famous Windmills. You can cycle trough the beautiful countryside from the Alblasserwaard to the lovely town of Gorinchem. Where you will find us waiting in the harbor to spend the night.

Day 3.
Monday ± 32 km

From Gorinchem to the ferry up to Woudrichem. Passing trough the ships-lock to proceed to the beautiful castle 'Loevenstein'. Continuing along the river De Waal passing the town typical Dutch towns of Brakel and Zuilechem, then trough the countryside to Aalst, Delwijnen and Well. Proceeding further to the bridge over the river Bergse Maas to the small town of Heusden.

Day 4.
Tuesday ± 48 km

Leaving the town of Heusden over the bridge along the border of the river Drongelen and Dussen. Crossing the Higway (A27) to Hank then trough the countryside to Wekendam. Continuing over the dyke to Kievitswaard. Where you can use the opportunity to visit the unique Nations Park the 'Biesbosch' before continuing to proceed the journey over the bridge to the ancient town of Dordrecht. Where the Irmadan II is waiting for you to spend the night.

Day 5.
Wednesday ± 36 km

Leaving Dordrecht leaving the town trough the north trough part of the National Park De Biesbosch crossing the bridge De Moerdijkbrug to the villages of Moerdijk and Klundert on the way over the dyke to the small and beautiful town of Willemstad. Were we are waiting in the cozy harbor.

Day 6.
Thursday ± 40 km

Leaving Willemstad and passing the ships-lock of De Volkerak, cycling along the dyke to Oude Tonge. Continuing to cross a part of the famous Delta Works (a system to prevent Holland from flooding by the sea) to Bruinisse, Dreischor to end at the small and beautiful town of Brouwershaven where we berth for the night.

Day 7.
Friday the cycling distance is variable

Beautiful daytrips leading you around the island with plenty of dunes, beaches, countryside and nice small towns.

Day 8.
Saturday ± 28 km

Leaving Brouwershaven to Scharendijke, crossing the highway, continuing in the direction of Ouddorp along the coastline, traveling trough the dunes to the small fishing village of Stellendam where you find us docked at the harbor.

Day 9.
Sunday ± 32 km

Leaving Stellendam over the sea-locks De Haringvliet trough the dunes to Rockanje and then trough a nature reserve to Oostvoorne to go on to Den Briel, a very nice small town. Continuing trough the country side in the direction of Hellevoetsluis. Where you will find us docked in the 16e century naval harbor

Day 10.
Monday 32 km or 48 km

Leaving Hellevoetsluis in the direction of Den Briel, where you take the ferry to the other side of the Brielse Maas continuing in the direction of Rozenburg. Where you take the ferry to cross the New Waterway and end reach Maassluis where you can decide to go straight to Schiedam or make a detour to the west to visit Maeslant Kering, a part of the Delta Works. Returning along the side of the Nieuwe Waterweg back to Maasluis, Vlaardingen to end the day in Schiedam where you find the Irmadan II docked in the centre of the town.

Day 11.
Tuesday

The breakfast signals the end of this trip. We bid you farewell and hope to see you again on another trip
