Week trip South-West, traveling trough part of the province of Utrecht trough the south and west of the province of South Holland.
Day 1.
Saturday

Upon arriving in Amsterdam at appox 12 o'clock you have two possibilities. We stay the day and night in Amsterdam in order to visit the centre of Amsterdam. Or we depart to the small town of Weesp situated along the Amsterdam-Rijn Kanaal where you can try your bike on a short track.

Day 2.
Sunday ± 42 km
Leaving Weesp you cycle along the small river De Vecht, with its authentic mansions and period gardens build in the seventeenth century. Traveling to Utrecht to end the journey in the small town of Juthphaas, situated along the Amsterdam-Rijn Kanaal where we stay for the night.

Day 3.
Monday ± 34 km

Leaving Juthphaas you travel to Vreeswijk, passing the bridge over the river De Lek in the direction of Vianen. You have the opportunity to take a look ad the lock at Hagenstein. Continuing to Leerdam, famous for its glass and crystal. Cycling along the dyke along the beautiful river De Ling with a very nice scenery. Traveling to the town of Gorinchem where we stay for the night, only ten unites from the town centre.

Day 4.
Tuesday 28 km to 36 km

Leaving Goringem by ferry to cross the river De Waal to the small former salmon fishing town of Woudrigem, continuing in the direction of The Werkendam Shipbuilding Yards. Where you continue traveling along the dyke from the river Bendene-Merwede to the national park De Biesbosch. Or you can choose to go directly to the oldest city of Holland, Dordercht where you find Irmadan II docked in the centre of the town.

Day 5.
Wednesday ± 36 km

Leaving Dordrecht to the northern part of the national park De Biesbosch, then further over De Moedijkbrug to the villages Moerdijk and Klundert, cycling on the dyke to the small and beautiful town of Willemstad where we reunite in the small harbor.

Day 6.
Thusrday ± 34 km

Starting in Willemstad you will pass the ships locks De Volkerak and cross De Haringvliet Bridge, continuing to your left to cross the highway toe reach the country side Nieuw Beierland. Continuing by ferry to cross the river 'T Spui, the small park De Bernisse trough to the town of Hellevoetsluis, a former 16th century Naval Base, turned into a Yachting centre where you will be reunited with the Irmadan II.

Day 7.
Friday 32 km of 48 km

Leaving Hellevoetsluis in the direction of Den Briel. Take the ferry to the north and continue to the village of Rozenburg. Take the ferry to Maassluis where you can either go directly to Vlaardingen of head West and visit the Measlant Kering, build to protect Holland against High Tide and part of the Delta Works. Returning to Maassluis and continuing the trip to Vlaardingen where the Irnmadan II is waiting for you in the centre of the town.

Day 8.

After breakfast we end the trip and we hope to see you again on another vacation, on bike or on board.

This trip can also be made in the opposite direction Schiedam to Amsterdam.
